Description of Duties:
The Pharmacy Technician Trainee will assist in dispensing of medications and intravenous additives as well as assist in the unit dose dispensing and repacking of medications. The Trainee delivers medications to the assigned nursing stations and delivers floor stock carts to assigned nursing stations. The Trainee will maintain pharmaceutical supplies, and assist with preparing pharmaceutical orders and receiving pharmaceutical supplies. The Trainee will also assist in the refilling and operation of automated dispensing machines.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or G.E.D. The preferred candidate will have previous experience as a pharmacy technician.
